New Month, New Doll, New Post

Hello again! :) Sorry for being away for so long, as I said in the last update, school has been eating me alive... Even now, I have exams and homework due, and this is my Spring Break week!! XD It's swamping me!!... And we (our whole house, grandparents' houses, and extended family's houses) have all been sick for the past two weeks, completely stopping normal work and productions.  :(  I hope no one has to go through this terrible cold!!

Well, since last month as busier than usual, I didn't have time to finish the shirts. So! I plan on uploading both the shirts and the pants by the end if this month/beginning of April.  Hopefully I will finish in time, I'm finding that the Art Doll clothing is causing me more trouble than I allotted time.

Remember when I said I knew what my Valentine's day present was? Well, meet Chiyo, my VOLKS Yo-SDG Chika! She has her original face-up, wig, and eyes, and we managed to get her for her original price!! It was fate!! XD  She's really just the sweetest little thing, and she and Rolly have become rather attached at the hip.  Lol.  I can't seem to separate them!

I do not have much time to update, so this entry will be short, but thank you for those of you who have stuck with me through this dry period.  It truly means so much that people will stay even when things are taking a long time to progress.  ♥

I hope everyone is doing well in their lives, both home and away.  Thank you for joining me once again!

The next update will be much more informative, I'm sure of it. ;)

Thanks for reading!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone!

Sorry I have been away, this time of year is busier than normal now. :/

Well, my New Year's Resolution this year is to make and list more clothing. I started out with an enormous goal that I had the audacity to believe I could finish, however, now I know and now I can adjust things to sew faster and make better patterns. Everything has been trial and error here, and now I see how silly I had been thinking, how inexperienced I really was. This year, I vow to do better. I vow to finish the Steampunk outfit in time for the one year anniversary, and to have more outfits as well as more separates. :) Hopefully I will have some sets that fit Leeke Ariana as well. :) (She'll be here soon! I'm so excited!)

I DID finish Rolly's cute little snowflake outfit, however, I had to remove her head to put her shirt on, but now I know how NOT to make that shirt. XD Ah well, it's a learn-as-you-go type of thing. I feel like I will need to cut the neck seam a bit and then take it off, fix the stitches I may have destroyed, and then add snaps. >w< I should have done snaps to begin with, but I'm just too stubborn. Lol. I plan on making more sets like this, OOAK or limited sets, however, because this outfit was actually very difficult to sew by hand, let alone attempting the machine. Lol. I will definitely have sets like this up by the 1 year mark. I already have different fabrics selected for it and I plan on making before listing with this one, since it takes about 3 weeks to complete and school is already just around the corner again. >w< Hopefully I can have some OOAK ones for springtime up soon, at least one for sure. I even got new sewing supplies from my mother for Christmas, so I have more to work with now (and a bigger sewing box, I was working out of an 11" by 5" by 5" box, and that is NOT enough room).

I'm going to start more outfits today as I celebrate my New Year with my love, our son, and my family at my grandmother's house. :) (I managed to start one yesterday, but we'll see how that one goes.)

On some family-like notes: Kole is progressing much faster than most children. He is speaking full sentences, learning new words and creating his own sentences from them, reciting his ABCs, and he even used the loo all by himself on Saturday. (He had just gotten out of the tub and I was toweling him off when he says, "Mommy, I need to poopie," and runs away back to the bathroom. I chase him down to find him sitting there on his potty all gentleman-like, and then I actually hear him go (#1, not #2, he isn't really good with knowing which is which yet, lol)! I literally started jumping up and down and yelling to the rest of the family that he was going all by himself. And this was the first time he's ever tried to actually go! I was so proud of him. >w<) My little man still isn't even two and he's already surpassing myself as a child (who spoke and read at one) as well as kids older than him that he plays with. It's almost scary, really. I'm thankful he's shy to adults he's never met, or else I'd be even more worried about him. Lol. (I'm such a worrying mama.)

Well, in the news of school, I managed to get an A, two Bs, and a C, passing every one of them. >w< I truly could not believe it, especially the B in math... I never get Bs in math. Lol. (I'm more of an arts, languages, and history person.) Now I just need to get the rest of my books for this semester, hopefully by the week before, so I can be at least a little prepared. My school is kinda funny on when you can purchase books from the store, and the lines are never friendly. Lol.

Well, forgive me for not updating more, hopefully I can do that now, but that's all for the moment. This post has become long enough. :)

I hope everyone is well and I wish you all a very prosperous New Year. :) ♥

Thanks for joining me~!

Midterms

Oh, my goodness! I've done it! I've made it through the first half of the semester with A's!! >w<  Midterms are all this week and next, and I've been working hard. I'm so glad I gave school a try this semester. Everything is going so well! I'm actually very proud of myself for once. Lol. I hope I can keep this up until December 15th! >w< (My last day of this semester.) Which reminds me, October 22nd opens when we can sign up for Spring Semester. I'd better remember to do that! Lol. I'll have to do it Wednesday of that week while I'm up there. x_x I hope the line doesn't make me late for class!

On a dolly note, I DID manage to get many things set for the dollies this past week. I put that LeekeWorld Ariana (snow skin) on layaway at DDE!! >w< I'm so glad! Hopefully I can have her paid off by December so she'll be here for the holidays. I also got new ZM Powder and Cleaner on its way from VOLKS USA, Talia's outfit from NiceNiece on Etsy, eyes for both Talia and Lettie (the Leeke Ariana) from Safrin Doll, a sock monkey hat for Rolly from my friend Riven from Riven's Vagaries, and a wig from a lady selling an 11in Real Red wig from Leeke on BJD Adoption on FaceBook. All I need now is new pastels and some sticky tack from Pat Catan's and I will be all set! :D Rolly and C.C. are BOTH in need of a new face-up, since Rolly's has miraculously chipped off and C.C.'s needs to look more like herself in Code Geass, especially now knowing that I already draw her kind of eyes whenever I draw eyes. Lol. So, hopefully, they will look much nicer this time around. >w< ♥ Fallen is getting one too, since her body should be here soon. :3

Halloween costumes and Fall Fashions are coming along nicely. Once I get decent pictures, Yo-SD jeans will go up in the store, and once my shirt comes out properly, Yo-SD long-sleeve shirts will be up as well. Rolly's pumpkin costume is looking cute, but her hat and shoes just did NOT want to work for me, so I've decided to just do cute little ribbons in her hair and let her go in her socks. :) She's already adorable without any extras. I just need to make sure to be done with her face up before the Halloween party on the 27th. The face-up in the picture has already been taken off, but here was a chip on her lip where the sealant flaked off, so I decided it was best to keep her in her box before anything else happened. I'm always afraid of ruining things, so I usually play it safe with the girls. I have no clue as to why it flaked off. :( I just hope I can fix it...

I also took Talia apart. I figured out her legs had been put on with the opposite shins. :( That was why her legs were so kicky, so I'm hoping to fix her as soon as I know how much elastic to use with her. Lol. She will look so cute when she's done too! I'm really excited! >w<

But alright, that's enough rambling for one day. Got to get back to studying for those midterms. >.< Wish me luck~!

Thanks for reading~!

Come again soon~!

Enjoying Fall

Hello all! :) Hope everyone is well on this marvelous fall day!

Rolly's pants.
More info at the BJB on FaceBook.
So, I've decided to take up working on all of my girls again, you know, fixing their hair, redoing their face-up, getting/making them new clothes. Talia finally has a wig, though she is now sitting unstrung because of a kicky leg. C.C. is still sitting pretty right now, but that's only because she is still waiting on that ankle replacement from Parabox. :\ The poor dear... And Rolly is happily sporting a new pair of jeans made by yours truly. :) They actually don't look half bad for my first try. Lol. In case you are wondering, I am currently working on warm clothing/fall-winter fashions for the lovelies right now. The jeans will be going to the Ball-Jointed Boutique as soon as I finish embellishing them (which means, as soon as I get jean buttons for them, lol). I also plan on having warm shirts, vests, jackets, stockings, skirts, and scarfs. I'm debating on the idea of mittens, but we'll see how well my test pair turns out before I make my decision.

J.K. Rowling's new book
"The Casual Vacancy".
I also found a book I want to read. J.K. Rowling's "The Casual Vacancy" came out yesterday, Thursday, September 27th, 2012, and she is the whole reason I ever thought that I would be able to write one day. So, naturally, I want to read this book just because it's hers. Unfortunately, there are many people reading it, or not finishing it, and giving it bad reviews for the most ridiculous reasons. Someone bought "A Casual Vacancy" and returned it because it said the "f-word". Now, I don't know about you, but I know for a fact that the Harry Potter books WE (Americans) read were different than the copies in London. Why, you may ask? Because it used many words that we, as children, were not likely to know the meanings of (Philosopher's Stone, for example). THIS novel, on the other hand, is coming over here untouched and unchanged, so all the words they are reading, we get to read. However, back to my original statement, people returned it for the f-word. Really? Are we that touchy as a country that we can't handle swear words in ADULT novels? (Yet we read garbage like "50 Shades of Grey".) I don't understand it. I truly don't. Calling that trashy for curse words, yet reading porn? I just don't get it.

Also on the subject of J.K. Rowling, during an interview this week, she was told something not so great, to which she responded in the best way ever:

J.K. Rowling herself.
Interviewer: "Unfortunately, your world record for selling the most books was over taken by '50 Shades of Grey'."

J.K. Rowling: "Yes, imagine how many copies I would've sold if Harry was a bit more creative with his wand."

Which is another reason for me to love this woman, however, I'm turning my blog about my dolls and daily activities into a rant, lol. Forgive me. >w< I'm passionate sometimes. Lol. Plus I just love that woman. She truly did make me feel like anything was possible... Though, I am one of those odd children who actually read the Harry Potter books from 1997 (I was 5) forward. I've even read her biography. Lol. She's a pretty cool person to look up to. :)

But, any-who, back to dolls. Lol. Working hard on making fall clothing because I am just so excited that it smells like Samhain/Halloween/All Hallow's Eve outside already. >w< It's making me want to get a blanket and some coffee, grab a book, snuggle with Kole and the girls, and read while listening to the leaves blow off the trees. Keep a weather eye on my store if you're excited for the Yo-SD sized clothing coming out. There will be some up in the store very shortly indeed. :)

On the topic of VOLKS News, if you wanted to know anything about those three new girls I was talking about in my last post, check out here: VOLKS JAPAN English Site (NOT VOLKS USA) to help you with that information. They've updated it just a tad, but a little goes a long way for those who are excited. :)

Well, thank you once again for joining me. :D

Until next time,

Pack, Work, Sleep, Repeat!

Everything's moving a little slower now that the moving plans have been set into action. Trying my best to keep up with everything, but sewing usually falls behind, especially when I haven't been getting enough sleep to safely use anything more machine than a coffee pot. Lol.

Rolly's wig and eyes came in finally. The mailman did not knock nor leave a pink slip, I received an email from LUTS saying that it had been sent back to the post office and I needed to hurry and collect it. So I got the fiancee to take us up there, talked to the nice post lady again, and gathered my package. :D Inside were Rolly's eyes and wig, and Bina's wig. Rolly looks really cute, pigtails or no, but it's a big big on her. >w< Now all that's left to do is order Bina, Fallen, and Galenia's eyes (Tdelia, Flowne, and Gela) from Safrin Doll and things will be rolling slowly along. Lol. I even managed to get Flowne's head already. >w<

Working hard on a pair of LittleFee pajamas and the Steampunk Full-Set for Ball-Jointed Boutique. I decided to upload pictures of my process on the pajamas to my Facebook Page, but the Steampunk Set will remain "secret" until it's done. Maybe a snip-it photo here or there, but not a full album like the jammies. Lol.

I'm slowly adding doll-sites to the list on the Doll Sites page of this blog, so if you're interested in learning of more sites or need a bookmarked place with most, feel free to check it out. I even have them separated by country. Lol. So you can guess what your shipping will be before-hand. (EMS is usually $20-$45 per order, depending on what you get.)

D.I.M. Doll Flowne
Picture from Kumasmash on Flickr.
I think I'll start making more LittleFee clothes now that I have an idea on what works out on Rolly. I'm waiting until Flowne's body gets here to complete the store of MSD female clothes. It occured to me that Shii-Tsuu is A LOT wider than your average MSD, so everything I make would need to be altered to fit a normal MSD girl. :\ I should have compared before making the store and everything official. >.< I'm such a dunce. Lol. Plus, I could always make a LF boy line now, considering their clothing fits both genders. :D So, hopefully I can start making at least shirts and pants/skirts for them soon. :)

Working on getting packed and preparing to move. @_@ I have MANY boxes to go through in my down-time, so I gotta boogie. Lol. I figured it was the last day of the month so this entry need to get finished and posted ASAP, so this is my first bit of downtime work. Lol.

Well, that's all I have for today. :) Thanks for reading~! ♥

See you next month~! :D

Home Again

So, yesterday was Tanabata (七夕) AND my fiancee's birthday. :) He's old now. Lol. (Not really, but we've know each other for 6 years now and the jump from 14-15 to 20-21 just seems so large...) He went out and had fun with his guy friends (he being the baby of the group) and I used my Tanabata wish to make sure he came home safe. :) ♥ He's actually still sleeping right now. Lol.

Impldoll Model Tdelia - 58cm - Pink Skin
I learned about Impldoll's Summer Event on Thursday. :3 It's really awesome! Spend $XXX and get a free head - OR - spend $XXX and get a free 26cm doll! It's making me want to get a 58cm to get the 26cm for free... >.> But then I'd REALLY be over my "limit". XD I'm in love with Tdelia in tan and Gela in pink. They look so cute!! I didn't realize a lot of the companies had Events like this... I keep getting emails left and right for Summer Event 2012s, but so far, this is the only one that caught me.

So, after painting everyday since last Sunday, we have almost every bit of painting done except the tiny line above the basement stairs. It's 16 feet above us... We needed other opinions. XD So that's what we shall tackle today, even though I'm home again. I think Kole and I will bikeride there... I just need to know what time to leave. Lol.

Impldoll Baby Gela - 26cm - Pink Skin
Rolly seems to be fitting into our little dolly family perfectly. :) I usually leave Talia in her arms, and Justin decided it would be funny to put Rolly in Shii-Tsuu's arms, so now they are sitting on the side hutch, all stacked together. They actually look rather happy. Lol. Like the best of friends or siblings or something. >w< And, soon enough, Fallen (DIMdoll Flowne) will join them. :3 So our little family will be 4. Justin says I should go for it with the Impldoll Event... He even said he'd pay half the layaway payments for each month... But I'm not sure... I don't know if I can handle six dolls just yet... I'm still getting the hang of three. Lol. And two of them are incomplete as it is... Rolly needs a new face-up and her wig... Talia needs a wig and some body blushing... I need so many supplies... Sealant, cleaner, pastels, paints... This is definitely an adult hobby... Not something a young teen or even a young mother should attempt until they are truly sure... So, even with all my research, in that sense, I jumped in with both feet... And now I know.... But I wouldn't change it for anything. :) And I'm so very glad Justin bought Shii-Tsuu for me. ♥

Hmm... I need to do laundry, and sort through boxes and pack today... I still plan on moving in to Justin's... As much as my parents love it that I'm here so they have Kole everyday, I think they enjoyed this past week without me here, so I think it's best to go through with my plan to move in over there. Kole is happier with both mommy and daddy everyday anyways... He threw a fit for a few hours last night after Justin left because he wanted him and didn't understand why we weren't sleeping at Daddy's anymore. :(

A little bit of sewing (I messed up again. -.-) and Writer's Block this past week, so I'm not very on top of anything, but life as of right now... But here's hoping things turn around. I'm still waiting to get paid, too, the shipment from 3 weeks ago still isn't here and I'm getting nervous someone pulled the wool over my boss's eyes with this one. Crossing my fingers anyways, though. :\

Well, that's all for now... Thanks for reading! :3 ♥

July 2nd Already?

WOW! Where has this year GONE?? It's July 2nd!! Seven months in to 2012 already! What happened to the year going by so slowly? >.< Lol.

So, my sister's grad party was a hit! At least 80 ppl showed up, ate, gave cards, laughed, talked, and swam. :) Our fence and pool looked lovely and everyone had a great time! It was a blast! Even the babies had fun! Kole and his friend Madelyn got to play too! :) It was cute! They love each other so much. :3 ♥ Kole even bit her finger and she didn't cry! They both laughed like it was nothing!! XD Those two crack me up when they're together... And Kole get's so talkative when she's around! It's truly adorable.

I also got Rolly's face up done! >w< It looks terrible really... Now that I'm looking at it today, but I'm still happy with it... I just need to fix her cheeks and everything will be good... If I had more cleaner, I'd do it today, but I need both cleaner and sealant. >.< AND I need to buy VOLKS Basic Set of pastels... Rolly is a dainty lady... And she's painted like some sunburnt maiden. Lol. I also messed up on her top right eyelashes, but I'll fix that then too. :) I just gotta be really careful when I wash the make up off... So I don't take off the eyelashes or eyebrows. Lol. I think I'd cry if I did that... After all the frustrations that came with doing the eyelashes and brows in the first place. @_@ I'm right-handed... Her LEFT side looks perfect... Her right side just stinks... -.- Ahh well, what can you do, but wait and order new supplies and try again?

I do love having three ladies now, though. :) It makes for very interesting photo-shoots because I can  pose them all together doing different things or interacting. >w< It's actually pretty fun! Especially considering two of them are in maid outfits... I haven't found one small enough for Talia, so I think I'm gonna need to wing it and make her one. Lol. Idk if I can sew something so tiny though! XD I made her a little hat today, so she wouldn't look so bald, but even then I had to hold it on her to make my first few stitches, then take it off and finish it. Lol.

I fixed Shii-Tsuu's face-up as well, but it's making me wonder if I should just remove and redo it... After doing Rolly and learning from all my mistakes on face-ups thus far, I feel like I could do a better job for her this time... But I'm not sure if I'm ready for that or not... She's wearing her second face-up, but I still feel fond of it... Idk... I'm not sure of anything when it comes to their faces, my lovely ladies. Not at all. Lol. But Shii-Tsuu now has eyebrows and the top eyelashes painted on (I completely gave up on fake lashes... LITERALLY... Not my thing... >.>). Lol. She looks more humble than her normal self does... She looks rather like she did when she lost her memory in Code Geass: R2... o.o Maybe that's my favorite C.C. >w< Idk. Lol.

Still painting and sewing... No writing yet, though I hope to have some done by the end of the week. Lol. *crosses fingers*

Well, that's all for now. :) Thanks for reading! ♥

ROLLY!!!!!! XD

Sooo happy today!!! I left a note for the postman (er, Justin did for me, lol) and he left the package instead of returning with it, SO we had a box opening today!!! XD

Meet 许碧 (Xu Bi), my Fairyland LittleFee Rolly, and also my BJD MiniMe. :) ♥ She will have jade green eyes and cream brown hair, and I hope to give her glasses one day. Lol. (Yes, those of you wondering, I LOVE maid uniforms. Lol. I shall have an army of maids one day.) Kole helped me open the package she came in, he even cleaned up all the paper and bubblewrap, and even a Sticky Note that I gave him off of her box. Lol. He absolutely LOVES Rolly already, and so do I. I can't wait to face-up and blush her. :3 I'm rather excited about the whole thing.

Today was also amazing in the business department! I now make about $11.54 an hour!! It's so crazy!! I'm going to be SHOVELING munnies into my savings at this rate! XD And putting more in the dolly fund too!! :) (Maybe I can even start a wedding fund... >.> Though I was told the other day that there are to be no more grad parties, baby showers, or bridal parties in the near future. Lol. My sister's grad party is eating up our lives. Lol.) I'm just so excited!! Overly excited!! Everything is turning out amazingly!! It's nuts!! XD (I'm utterly grateful, as well. I can't just take and not be grateful... It'd be too awful of me.)

C.C. (Parabox Alice), Talia (Doll-Zone Nono),
and Xu Bi (FL LF Rolly)
I now have 3 lovelies with one on the way. :3 (That D.I.M. Doll from a friend? Go back and read it you lazies! XD) I love my little dolly family... And so does Kole. XD He's such a doll fiend! He says "yes" instead of "please" to see things and he's constantly asking for Talia. XD  I guess he just loves teeny tinies. XD Lol.

That's all I'm going to write for now... Going to eat a little and rest some... Didn't sleep well last-night. :\

Sewing and other things to come this weekend and next week. :) So be ready for postings! :D

Thanks for reading!! :D ♥

D.I.M. Doll From a Friend

Hello and welcome back to the Ball-Jointed Baby~ :D If your just joining us, please find the April 1st entry and begin there, otherwise:

Amidst all my working, cleaning, and sewing, I putzed around the computer for a new wallpaper for my Desktop. During my putzing, I found a beautiful picture of a white haired, fuchsia eyed, long eared elf. After much research, I learned her name was Suzu. I also learned that she was from a rather naughty Japanese game... -.- Why is it that all the good wallpapers are Game CGs? And that the games seem to be naughty ones? Argh! At least the picture is cute, not dirty. Lol.

Suzu from Suzukaze no Melt (c) 2010 - Whirlpool

So, after noticing she was a cute little elf, I decided that she might be a good character to base D.I.M. Doll Flowne on when she eventually arrives. Lol. A friend of mine had her body up on BJD Adoption for sale for WEEKS and no one took interest but me and an, "I wish." So, we made a trade and worked out a little inexpensive layaway, and in 6 months or so, I shall have another gorgeous doll. I'll just need to get her head from Denver Doll Emporium eventually. Lol. XD Otherwise, she'll just be a headless wonder. Lol. I was always taught that every little bit counts, and I'm glad things worked out in my favor. :) This brings my number up to three, two resins and one vinyl. :) (I'm cutting myself off. 3 a year. That's it. My limit. Lol.) Though I have a long way to go compared to those with 40+ in 4-6yrs. >w< Where do they keep them all?! Lol.

I'm continuing work on the dresses. I sewed the LittleFee one one way and the MSD one another way, I'm testing to see which way works out best for this type of dress. So far, I think the LF one is going to come out the best. >w< And the ladybug print is just adorable!! I'm very partial to ladybugs though. >w< If Kole had been a girl, his nursery would have been ladybugs instead of the Cocalo Preston set. >.< I can't wait to see what it will look like on Rolly. JULY YOU CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH!!! XD I'm sure it will look nice on C.C. too, but it will totally clash with her green hair. Lol. She will be wig-less for modelling, I'm sure. >.< Otherwise the picture will look ridiculous.

Well, in other news, I've gone back onto deivantArt to answer my little amount of fans on my Neko Maid story. Lol. They were begging for more and it made me realize I hadn't posted anything in a YEAR; not since my laptop crashed. -.- I felt really bad so I typed out two chapters in a few hours. I have NO IDEA how the original chapter 7 started bc I'm unsure if it's on a runaway flashdrive, so I just wung it, but still. I guess people like it enough to read it either way. Lol. I'm pleased to have SOME fans. >w< It makes me so happy. ♥

I actually planned to do this entry on Wednesday, but decided that I could get two in this week if I did it today instead. I have a really busy schedule this week. >.< My next entry wont be until Friday, I hope. Lol. Kole has a doctor's appointment, his 15 month check up, on Friday, but other than that, it's free of plans. >.< Thank goodness. >.< Bc today is my only other "day off" this week. Lol. So, needless to say, I'm doing a bit of everything in for today.

Hmm... I think that's all for now... I'll add this week's adventures in on Friday. :) Going to go work some more.

Thanks for reading~! ♥ Wish me luck!

Sundress Day

Dress Front
Whoo-hoo~! The sundress is DONE!!! XD The camera cord FOUND!! And the camera CHARGED!!! How did I do? :) My first lined clothing item... :)

I plan on making them all print on the outside, solid color on the inside like this, but I do NOT have anymore of the blue star/moon fabric. It was a scrap from an older bit of fabric my mother bought me when I was younger. The rest of it was made into a pillow and a purse, both long-since finished and stored away. Lol. But I would like to make like a pink print and a purple print... Perhaps a gray one... So I should go up to my favorite fabric store and pick out some remnants. Oooh! Maybe I could make one with that green ladybug fabric! *searches for ladybug fabric in box* I could line that one with red for sure *digs further into box*. Lol. But I definitely need to get another blue print and some more solid colors. >.< Scraps only get you so far. Lol. >w<

I'm debating on getting out the machine and doing the hem or just leaving it alone since its lined and looks ok as it is. If my machine could do a fancy stitch, I'd totally do it, but I don't think it can... I never really looked for anything other than a straight stitch. Lol. A friend of mine has this neat machine that does petals and leaves and vines instead of just plain stitches. She decorated a dress she made with the vines and leaves and it looked amazing!!

Dress Back
I've decided, since I'm getting Rolly soon, to make LittleFee sundresses and sell them too. XD I'm going to make the ladybug dresses next; one MSD, one Yo-SD. I already have them cut and waiting for me to do tomorrow. I've officially decided to use the machine. :) It will go SOOO much faster and look much more professional than this mistake pile. Lol. I had to ask the Master Seamstress (a.k.a.: my mother) to help me fix all the mistakes, and she told me how to line it properly for the next time. XD Lol. It's so awful, but so wonderful in the same sense. At least I'll know how to do it right this time.

Lot's of cleaning and working at Mima's lately. And parties and such too. >w< Kole even told me he is ready for a big boy potty. He's almost 15 months old (this Sunday) and he's asking to use the potty when he's peeing. Lol. It's actually quite adorable. And ridiculously smart... Kole literally learns a new word or phrase each and every day!! It's so wonderful and sad at the same time. He isn't my little boy anymore... He's a mini man now. Lol. My big boy. :)

But any-who, I should have the sundress listing up by tomorrow night, but saying that now might jinx me and make something come up. -.- It seems like every time I post about something or blog about it, it doesn't happen. Lol. So let's just hope it's up by this weekend. And hope I can post pictures of C.C. trying on the sundress before the weekend is out (since Justin didn't bring her to me these past two days @_@). *crosses fingers*

Rolly~ ♥
Oh yeah, one more payment on Rolly and she's mine~! >w< It makes me so happy!! Lol. Now she just needs a wig... >.> Since she already has a wardrobe... Lol. The shoes I want for her are sold out though... And I need to find shoes for C.C. too... I may need to order those from Parabox. @_@ Which means it'll take a month or so for them to get here... Lol. Tho, the wig is from LUTS, so that might take a while too. >w< Ah well... It'll be worth it. :) Everything wonderful is worth waiting for... Always... ♥

Well, that's all for now. :) Thanks for reading everyone~! See you again soon!! :D

Plannings and Research and Shopping, OHMAIH!~

So, yesterday, before bed, I made myself a chart. On this chart, it lists my dolls and the dolls on my Wish Lyst', their informations, and names to be. I also listed them in order of importance. >w< (Sound familiar BJDs for Beginners readers?)
'Click' to read.
So far, I am doing rather well according to BJD owners who have been at this hobby longer than I... I only bought two dolls this year... Most of them bought two in the first week! >w< Lol. And then went on to buy six more within a year of those two! >w< It's crazy!! I can understand a lot of the elder BJD owners being able to afford them all, but the younger ones? How do they manage? Do they receive them as gifts or what? Because there are a few girls a little older than I with 8-12 dolls already... And they've only been at this hobby for 4 years... I've been at it for 8... Kind of... Lol. Only a few months if you want to count actually owning a doll. >w< But 8 years with being infatuated with the wonders that are ABJDs.

FINALLY~ got that pajama set done... I need to alter my pants pattern. :\ They're a little too tight, in fleece at least. Maybe stretchy fabric would work, but definitely not fleece. >w< Even though they look absolutely AWFUL, I'll post my picture so you can all laugh with me. Lol.

C.C. modelling the PJs. Excuse the baldness.
So yeah, a LITTLE tight, but at least I know I can fix it. :) Got some stockings done today too, black ones. Pain in the butt to sew with not enough light, but still lovely nonetheless. Going to finish the white ones and move onto T-Shirts and bottoms (pants/skirts... Idk which) tomorrow. I really DO think I can get all these done and photographed by May 1st. It might be a challenge with Mister I Only Nap For 10 Minutes Once a Day Now, but I still think I will be able to do it, especially if I sew after he goes to bed for the night. I can't sleep as it is, why not make something of that time? Lol. (Normally I'm too tired, and really, I am, but I need to kick my butt in gear.)

Shopping again today. -.- I'm so TIRED of shopping. Lol. I get too fidgety with Kole at restaurants and such... I enjoy a normal routine... However, it's for my sister's prom and she needed my opinion... Plus Mima wanted to get me things for my birthday next week... >.> So I got a hat, a headband with a bow, and a new pair of Victorian looking boot-shoes. Lol. High-heels... not something usually worn by myself... But I liked them too much to pass them up, AND they were on sale! >w< Lol. Who passes up a sale on shoes they absolutely love? Lol. (Normally, ME...)

Spring Semester is ending soon and I'm already nervous for the start of Fall... I think it begins on August 27th... But still... I'm afraid of failing math... Or worse... Chinese!!! O.O I keep looking for reference things on Chinese/Mandarin, but I can't find anything that DOESN'T resemble my text book. -.- There's one book I DID find, but only in Japanese, Spanish, Ingles, Arabic, German, and French... Chinese was sold out... -.- My luck, huh? It's alright though, I'll check again next time... Like I always do... (I don't get to the bookstore much and Chinese is popular right now...) I just hope I can be fluent one day... And I really want to teach Kole too... I want him to be at least bi-lingual before school, give him a little jump-start on things. (I hope to go to China one day, so it might come in handy too.)

Ahh well, enough stressing... Kole's asleep... I should go sew some more... Then pass out myself... I'm always so tired anymore. :\ I can't sleep at night... :\ *sigh*

20-some items to go... 12 days, is it? Hell, I'm sewing every moment I can! >.< Why did I attempt this? In what way was it a good idea?? -.- Maybe it will all work out... Hopefully... Or I can just open the store with what I have on May 1st, and then add to it as the days go by... Either way, it'll be open on May 1st... I know it!! :)

WISH ME LUCK~! :D

Wish Lyst'

FairyLand PukiFee "Luna"
  15.5cm (6.2in)
Well, I didn't want to write again until I had pictures of things, but I'm guessing that will take a lot longer than I'd hoped, my memory card is still MIA. -.- So! Still no pics, but I am still working on those jammies. -^_^-  I should really work on some socks or something... Light a fire under my butt. Lol. I'm not getting very far very quickly... :\ I should start sewing while Kole eats too, instead of just sleeping... That might get me farther... This kid NEVER naps... And when he does, it's 20 minutes tops and he only takes one. @_@ He picked a fine time to change his schedule on me. x_x Lol. He used to sleep twice a day, for 2 hours each nap... Yeah, would have gotten a LOT done given THAT time frame. @_@ Let's hope I will have these jammies done, and maybe a shirt and some stockings done too, as of tomorrow...

As you can see, I named today's entry "Wish Lyst'" (yes, I know List is spelled wrong, long story... kind of an inside joke... short version: I messed up writing 'list' on a wish list 6 years ago, ended up using that as a character's name in a book I plan on publishing [Lystian - list-shian], and wrote 'Wish Lyst' on top of every list since.)... and I did so because I decided on two more lovely dolls I want to add into my hobby... (that I wanted to be only 1 doll... -.-). Someone in my BJD group on FB posted a picture involving two PukiPuki "PongPong's" and I fell in love... It made me want to have more FairyLand BJD other than "Rolly" just because of their sweet sculpts (as in cute). I decided on keeping my selections smaller than C.C. (40cm), and NOT "Rolly's" size (25cm), so I ended up with two sizes 15.5cm (PukiFee) and 11cm (PukiPuki). The two I want are (girls; surprise, surprise) PukiFee Luna and PukiPuki Ante. -^_^- They are both so precious!!!

FairyLand PukiPuki "Ante" - 11cm (4.4in)
Justin says he likes Ante the best... >.> Maybe I'll be able to hint-hint to him that she might make a lovely anniversary gift... >w< After all, 5 years is a long time for high school sweethearts to last... (And here's to 100 more. Lol.) Now if I could just figure out what to get him... I mean, it's not like I don't KNOW what he wants... It's just that obtaining that thing is a little further out of the budget than these wonderful ladies (or any before them, lol). The guitar he wants is so expensive. >w< I'm not sure I can save up enough in time... (6 months can fly by pretty quickly in my mommy days). I DID want a cute little doll called "Q-Baby" a 10cm Tiny BJD by Dream High Studio, but they were released today from pre-order only, so I doubt I will ever get one unless I shop around the second hands. :\ Such an adorable bitty thing. >w< THAT I did "hint-hint" to Justin, BIG hint-hint, but I didn't know then that they would, most likely, not be for sale around September 3rd. (Hell, just the receipt would have been enough!)

So, still looking for glasses for "Rolly", who I plan on naming "Shelbie", my favorite variation of my own name, since she IS supposed to be my "Mini Me BJD". Lol. Do people actually make Mini Me's from these dolls? I've only seen one in my life that looked SIMILAR to the girl who owned it, and I saw VOLKS had posted something about "Another You", but I've never heard of someone actually going through with it... Perhaps I should ask one of the BJD groups I'm in if anyone in there did it... That would be a good source to start with. -^_^-

Alas, I grow weary, I think I shall turn in for the night... Plenty of sewing to keep me busy tomorrow. :) And hopefully my memory card will walk back onto my desk. Lol. So I can post some pictures!! >w<

20-some items to sew... 16 days to go... I CAN DO THIS... I think... o.o

Well, Justin says I can, anyways... But I'm not so sure... >.>

Erm... WISH ME LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????
